Missing: one muse

My muse is gone. I don't know where she went, maybe on an extended vacation, but at least she turned up long enough yesterday to get a flash story out. then, just like a snap of the fingers, she was gone again. I am beginning to miss my muse. If you see her, tell her I miss her and give her bus fare for the ride home. I will pay you back.

Actually, things are about to get back to normal. As soon as we wrap up the half-dozen or so projects I have going on around my house we will be back in the writing groove and my muse might not feel so neglected. I just hope she will forgive me some shop time so I can build some bedroom furniture for the kids and a bar for myself.

I hope your muses aren't feeling neglected at this point in the summer.

Look carefully, I'm sure you'll find your muse hiding under a tin of paint or a heap of sawdust.

Cate- I might have swept her away then. At least I haven't burned that pile of debris yet. (Run little muse, run!)

My muse is happy about my interest in cooking Korean food. Maybe he needed the time off? Or maybe that silly idea I had about a cross-dressing adventure isn't so silly after all.

Hmmm, mine too. I'm starting to think there's a muse convention going on somewhere.

I strangled my muse and buried her in a shallow grave beneath the boughs of the willow tree in the park ten years ago.

Ever since then, things have been fine. It's nice to be back in control.

Look, you finish that bar, and I'll drive my muse up to see you (in shackles). Then we can toss back a couple.

A muse convention - an interesting idea.

Let me know when you and Aaron intend to get together and I'll raid petty cash and fly up as well...

We all need dreams.

Feed it with horror movies and reading. Mine's a sucker for those.

Nat- At least you have an understanding muse.

Samantha- Circus Clowns scare me. Rodeo clowns are okay.

Rebecca- I shall go to Vegas to find them, crash their little party and drag them back kicking and screaming.

Jeremy- Did you read the story I submitted to Bards and Sages?

Ann- doesn't mean I miss you any less.

Aaron- maybe over winter break (I won't have it done before school starts).

BT- I will have cold beer and plenty of scotch on hand.

Benjamin- I think mine prefers suspense thrillers, but I might have to try it.

Sounds like everyone's muse's have run off somewhere. Is there a party we don't know about?

Perhaps they've all gone to the Muse-eum...
