Not Monday, Tuesday

I have to keep telling myself that it is indeed Tuesday, and not Monday as my mind would have me believe. Federal holidays tend to do that to me.

So this has actually been a productive weekend. Not writing wise, but otherwise. My spare guest room is now officially done, so if any of my blog-roll people are ever in the area, and you need a place to crash, let me know. I will see what I can do for you. (BT, I am now ready for your world tour.) I am now ready to start on the last unfinished space in the house and move my pool table in there. I don't think it will take long to put that together; just a couple of walls, some drywall, paint and trim and blammo- instant room.

The pond activity beside my house is still going strong. I am unsure how big this is going to be, I hope it will allow for some good fishing in a couple of years.

At least I know my inbox works. I received a rejection from a pro market. It was expected. I got no writing done this weekend. I did manage to start reading on K.C.'s book and I have to say I am really enjoying it. I think I may forgo the writing again today to continue on Jack's adventure.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Talk at you later.

If we all show up at once, that had better be a BIG bed!

Cate- That is a long time. We at least have Thanksgiving. (and Halloween, can't forget Halloween. What do you mean that isn't a real holiday?)

Nat- There might be some floor space sharing going on if everyone showed up.

Carrie- I have Wii, pool, air hockey, and an ancient arcade game of Arkanoid. I think we might be set. If we could wait until I build the bar that would be great.

Congrats man...no need to revise a just completed bedroom. ;)

"blammo-instant room"

I wish it was that easy.

Aaron- I wish it was that easy as well. Still, big open space and I am doing a drop tile ceiling. It should take that long. I hope.

Oh, I know how that feels.

I want to know something, though. Generally the trash people come pick up the trash on Tuesday(where I live) if Monday is a holiday. Why did they not do so today?

Yes, I say we all arrive together :)

We have no more long weekends. Although I do have a couple of annual leave days coming up - purely in order to write, so I'm looking forward to them.

eh i don't understand these terms. i sorta thought homes just popped up beautiful and done. and whenever something goes wrong, your mother comes with strange objects and fixes them :^)

Okay - I'm not far from sending out revised first drafts and then working on the query and the synopsis and then...

I have a cousin who lives in California somewhere (and earns squillions apparently) who wants to fly me and the wife over sometime in the next year or two - it might be quicker if I just wait until then, we could do the world tour the second time around ;c)

You talk about all that work you do on your house like it's EASY. I'm exhausted just reading about it.

I'm glad you're liking JOAT!
