January was, if you have read any of my posts through the month you know this already- slow. I managed nothing spectacular.
Writing accomplishments (or lack thereof) in January:
Words written in story form: between 2,000 and 2,500.
Stories written: 1 flash piece posted on my blog.
Stories rejected: 2
Stories accepted: 0
That pretty much covers it. February is going to be much better, if I can get past the weather related problems that seemed to plague me and every other Iowan that I know of. And my little water problem. And that whole, brain and fingers don't want to cooperate thing as well. I just know that things are going to get better. They have to.
Have a great day. :)

It was outside force, I think, Meteorogically, your month sucked. I'm sure things will look up when the sun comes out.
Jeremy, I think we counted it up and we had about 3 half days of sunshine during the entire month. Talk about depressing. I think everyone in the state is suffering from seasonal effective disorder.
Don't feel bad. That's a typical month for me. I'm not kidding. I write slower than death.
Here's to better weather. : )
Ice, man. Ice did it. Everything is slower in the cold. Here's to the thaw!
Weather can cause so much wonkery! Hope you get warm days soon : )
You wrote one more story than I did. Here's to February.
Rebecca, quality words. All quality. :)
Aaron, that is especially true with construction. Must be the same for writing.
Nat, you have no idea. We haven't seen our yard since before Thanksgiving. It will be well into April before we see any of it again.
Danielle, indeed. February is gonna rock!
Jamie, its seasonal affective disorder (SAD) ie :( Maybe while you're at it you could aspire to a better date day too?
I'm not even doing an end-of-month roundup this month. I got nothing much written and nothing but a few rejections, which is a pathetic start to the year. At least you did some writing!
Ann, you know I am not the one with the doctorate in the family.
K.C., everything seemed kinda frozen this month.
I already hate February :(
Perhaps we could build an igloo and hibernate in it with big old black typewriters.
Cate,do you need to talk about it?
The machine I used to type all my stories on was a black, 1973 IBM Selectric II. It was awesome.
Ha! I think I need to write about it instead. :D
Any progress is good progress, especially in the face of so much weather related crap. :)
