Every time I see a "Calvin and Hobbes" cartoon I feel like I'm in middle school again : ) I still say Hobbes is real!

Cate- Calvin and Hobbes is, unfortunately, not being made any more. The author 'retired' 14 years ago. He was only 51 and is still living somewhere in the U.S. doing nothing, much to the dismay of many of his loyal fans.

he said it was getting to be too difficult to put out the same quality that his fans had come to expect so he decided to go out on top (which he was at the time, the number 1 comic strip in the country)
